Discover the right California vacation and getaway for some solitude

Choosing the perfect vacation getaway is tough.  However, in today’s frantic paced environment everyone is competing with all of the obligations and time pressures you face in your daily life.  Occasionally it is nice to gain a new perspective on attraction opportunities that you may not have considered before.  A California vacation gives you an occasion to see something which you may not be able to find in your own backyard.

Idea #1: Moonridge Animal Park – Big Bear Lake, California. Educational wildlife programs have grown right along with the resident animal population. Primarily a zoological facility, Moonridge Animal Park also is a fully licensed, designated care and rehabilitation facility for injured or confiscated animals. Annually, at least 200 injured wild birds and animals are treated here. Over the years, thousands of injured, orphaned, or behaviorally handicapped wildlife have come to Moonridge Animal Park.

Idea #2:  Children’s Forest Exploration Trail – Running Springs, California. This beautiful trail climbs right through the middle of the 3,400 acres of Children’s Forest Construction on the trail involved in the Rim of the World Parks and Recreation District.  The trail was created to provide youth the opportunity to learn about plants, animals and the environment.
