When you are looking for the various typles of MMA gloves, the choices are not too extensive and also the feature are not too good either.

Padding can either be for sparring, bag work of competition

Sparring gloves have a lot of padding. They usually have finger loops that keep the fingers free to help you grab while you are on the ground. You need to extra padding for obvious reasons- no, not to protect your hands. To protect your sparring partner…

Bag gloves are virtually designed so you don’t chew your hand up as they skip accross the face of the striking bag- It’s more of a friction burn. Training gloves typically have a considerably longer wrist wrap that can help support the wrist in the course of bag work. The padding isn’t as good because the striking surface is padded. You do not need it.

Competiton gloves usualy need to satisfy some bare minimum requirements. The paddin alone need to weight 4-5 ounces. The back of the hands, knuckles usually are padded. Some Fight Leagues, like UFC have theur own gloves that meet their ring standards and that is all you are able to use.

Appearance

The way a gloves looks is most likely one of the most significant parts of the buying experience. I have sold lots of gloves and the coolness factor is among the most essential feature. The graphic designs vary from camo to blood- both extremely popular. But still, black glove with a top quality logo graphic stamped on it sell excellent.

Leather or Vinyl

I personally like the leather gloves. The way the material breaths and stretches can not be compared to vinyl. The edges of vinyl gloves can cut and irritate the skin of the hands. You just cannot compare to the good old smell and feel of a tough cow hide. Keep these things in mind in your next mma gloves purchase. What is the reason for the glove? Sparring, training or competition. How critical is the visual appeal? And finally, devote a few extra bucks. Cow hide gloves are likely to last a great deal longer than the vinyl and they will perform far better as well.

Areas to consider

Prior to runing out and purchase a set of MMA Gloves, here are a few facts to consider. What exactly will you be using them for, just how much do you think you’re ready to spend and how much does brand mean to you

I recommend to my shoppers that training gloves don’t need to be expensive. Why shell out a lot on gloves which will be used-up and sweaty?

Many fighters are into the vanity thing- well at the least right up until the first time they get hit in the nose and their eye balls well-up with tears. Get beyond the appearance and find a good glove!
