Tap Water vs. Bottled Water What Would You Drink?
Have you ever wondered what the difference between bottled water and tap water is? Another thing is that if there is a difference what would you rather drink. Then another thought, is one safer then the other?
Everybody seems to have a different answer to these questions when they are asked. It is obvious that if people stopped buying bottled water then the bottled water companies would go out of business. Well the fact is that bottled water and tap water happens to be the same thing. This is true if the bottles sticker says anywhere on it that it has been bottled from any municipal, like distilled water usually. So this means that you are buying water that could have been bottled at your own home.
Some believe that the plastic bottles that the bottled water comes in can leach poisons into the water and this depends on the amount of time that the water sat in it. There may not be only poisons in the water but there could also be some trace amounts of bacteria as well. It has been a proven fact that the higher the price that is paid for the bottled water the better quality is received, which is like spring water usually. This meaning that there may not be poisons and bacteria present in the higher priced water.
Tap water is regulated but over the years there has been some issues over tap water not being too safe. Tests have given proof that tap water has mercury, aluminium, bacteria, and parasites as well. Also with all of the nasty metals found there have been trace amounts of the paper products that are flushed down the toilets. With this said maybe the best form of obtaining water is your tap water filtered yourself. This is similar to distilled water to most people. With doing it this way you know where the water has come from and what is done to it before you put it in your body.
